Online, with nothing to install

Suggest a game and then ask everyone to install something, and half the group is already gone. Opening a link is a shorter road.

Make a room

What it takes to start

  • Making a room gives you a four-letter code and an invite link.
  • Send the link. Your friend opens it, picks a nickname, and is in.
  • No sign-up, no login, no install. You are never asked for an email or a phone number.
  • You can read the code out instead. Four letters is short enough to say over a call.
  • iPhone, Android, laptop — it does not matter. A browser is enough.

Playing with people far away

  • Nobody has to be in the same room. Everyone picks on their own phone and all picks are revealed at once.
  • Keep a video call running and it gets much better — you can watch people decide.
  • Paste the link into a Discord voice channel and people join as they arrive.
  • Someone late can come in for the next match. You do not have to rebuild the room.

Numbers and timing

  • Up to 8 in one room. Two is fine.
  • A match runs about a minute. Choose 3, 5 or 7 rounds.
  • On your own, you can practise against the computer.
  • Room data disappears 24 hours after the last move. There is nothing to clean up.

Where to send the link

  • Group chats — the link unfurls with a preview.
  • Discord or Slack — drop it in the channel or the voice chat.
  • Out loud — the four-letter code is easy to say.
  • If a chat app opens links in its own browser, that works too; otherwise use its open in browser option.

How this differs from other online games

  • With nothing to install you start the moment someone suggests it, and the first match is over before the mood passes.
  • With no accounts there are no friend codes and no friend requests. The link is the invitation.
  • The rules fit in one sentence — one player picks four, everyone else picks one.
  • It is free. There is no payment feature at all.
